Will my linen abaya shrink after washing?
Like all garments made from natural linen fibers, a small amount of shrinkage may occur after the first wash. This is completely normal for linen fabrics.
How can I prevent shrinkage?
To help maintain the original size and quality of your abaya, we recommend:Hand washing whenever possible.If machine washing, use a gentle cycle with cold water.Wash with similar colors.Do not use a dryer or tumble dry.Hang or lay flat to air dry.Following these care instructions will help preserve the shape, softness, and longevity of your linen abaya.
What if my abaya shrinks slightly?
Natural linen fibers can relax again with wear and gentle steaming. If you notice minor shrinkage, lightly steam or iron the garment while gently smoothing the fabric back into shape.
Is shrinkage considered a manufacturing defect?
No. Minor shrinkage is a natural characteristic of genuine linen and is not considered a manufacturing defect. We recommend following the care instructions included with every purchase to keep your abaya looking its best.
